The Pre-Implementation Audit

The most import stage of any major technology initiative such as the implementation of an enterprise time tracking system is the initial assessment of the current state of time tracking and related processes at the firm. While a multi-functional project team is formed from resources identified from TimeKM and the firm, a collaborative project plan is shared with the team. This plan includes best practices in change management, time management processes and metrics, as well as the obvious technical implementation considerations, including conversion and integration with upstream systems.

The Implementation

The implementation process consists of actual installation of the TimeKM suite of products and integration of the system into the firm's environment. All aspects of installation are completed at this stage including integration and data conversion. In parallel to the technical installation, the majority of change management initiatives are performed to create awareness and set the stage for training and live deployment

The Training

There are several modules of training available for providing hands-on onsite training to end users and administrators. These sessions are tailored for lawyers and assistants/secretaries focusing on the firm's particular time tracking requirements. Standard and custom tailored programs are offered for Users, Administrators and Help Desk personnel.

TimeKM also recognizes that some larger firms wish to bring the value of TimeKM training in-house. As such, we offer a complete Train-the-Trainer certification program to allow in-house trainers to incorporate the TimeKM training into existing programs.

The Post Live

As a best practice, TimeKM Professional Services believes a project is never complete until the firm officially signs-off on pre-determined metrics identified during the project plan formulation. For this reason, the entire project team (from TimeKM) remains intact & continues to engage with the firm through the live deployment.
